Seeking Technical Manual…

7 Dec

We are looking to obtain a copy of a technical manual for the 1911 Baker.  If anyone out there knows where we can get a copy we’d appreciate it!

In the meantime, here is a link we found to a catalog for some of the 1909 Baker models.  They offered quite a variety of styles:

…and here is a youtube clip with a good number of old Baker Electric photos.  The commentary is not the most uplifting however!

I asked around and this may help for information on the Baker, I would start at the AACA library. While an ’11 is a very early for a Baker, much of that info would likely be found in a later car. I would also post this query in the AACA and HCCA forums. There was a 1914 baker thats been at the New Hope PA show , maybe try contacting someone from the show and find some info about it. jay leno has one that they restored and i bet you can find out some info by contacting some of the people that run his garage and actually do the work.

      Hi Mike,
Thanks very much for the input. I believe that Sean Crimmins has recently had some luck locating the info he was looking for. Will report on it as soon as I hear more about it. Happy New Year!
